Northfleet House Linked To Antisocial Behaviour And Drug Use Closed

A Northfleet property has been closed after frequent reports of disturbances and drug use.

On Thursday 4th December 2025, Kent Police were granted a full closure order for a house in Wycliffe Row by Maidstone Magistrates’ Court. This was granted despite the occupant’s appeals for only a partial order.

The location has been linked to antisocial behaviour, noise complaints, drug taking and assaults outside of the house.

The closure order will last for three months and any unauthorised person entering the property during this time risks a fine and a prison sentence.

Local officers ensured the local authority-owned property was empty and have now secured it. A sign has been placed on the door with a warning that it is an offence to enter. The closure order used legislation under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, and Gravesham Borough Council have applied to the court for possession of the property.

Police Constable Jo Hammond said ‘Residents have been blighted by the activity that has taken place at this property, so we are very glad the court has supported our effort to secure a full closure order.’
