The Sinnerman Brings Quick Wit And Laughter To Kent Care Awards

The Kent Care Awards welcomed a familiar face from television as Paul Sinha, best known as “The Sinnerman” from ITV quiz show The Chase, entertained guests with his distinctive combination of intelligence, quick wit and sharp humour.

A trained GP, award-winning stand-up comedian and one of Britain’s most recognisable quiz personalities, Paul delivered a highly personal performance that had guests laughing throughout the evening.

Speaking openly about his life, health issues and journey with Parkinson’s disease, he approached his experiences with honesty, warmth and brilliantly self-deprecating humour. His ability to find comedy in deeply personal circumstances made the performance both moving and entertaining.

Paul’s appearance was one of the highlights of an evening dedicated to celebrating the remarkable people and organisations working across Kent’s care sector.

Following his performance, guests queued for the opportunity to meet him and have their photographs taken. Some were even brave enough to challenge The Sinnerman’s famous quick wit; although matching his knowledge, sarcasm and perfectly timed responses was never going to be easy!

The Kent Care Awards provided an opportunity to celebrate the finalists and winners, while acknowledging the dedication, compassion and professionalism demonstrated by care teams throughout the county.

Ann Taylor, Chair of the Kent Integrated Care Alliance said: “Bringing providers, professionals and sector partners together, the event celebrated the many individuals and teams who make a positive difference to people’s lives every day. It was an evening filled with recognition, pride and plenty of laughter and Paul Sinha ensured it was also one that guests will remember for a long time.”
