Protestors for Palestine Action have blocked four entry points into Kent’s Discovery Park this morning, making access to the business estate impossible.
Discovery Park is a large UK science park offering state-of-the-art lab space to rent and modern offices near Sandwich.
Discovery Park is the base of Elbit’s Instro Precision weapons factory, who make sniper rifle sights for the Israeli army. The protestors want to raise attention to the ongoing war in Gaza, where they say that Israel are committing genocide.
They want to shutdown the weapons factory as part of the economic blockade for Palestine. Police are on the scene and attempting to clear the protestors from the entrance points.
