A driver has been caught by police speeding up to 83mph on Bluebell Hill on Monday morning.
The police had only been on patrol for a few minutes when they saw a vehicle travelling at high speed along Bluebell Hill. The driver reached speeds of 83mph, even though the speed limit is only 40mph.
The drivers average speed was calculated at 77mph. The driver even managed to slow down for the speed camera at the top of Bluebell Hill!
The driver was stopped and apologised but had no excuse for such poor driving. No excuse is not going to help, as a ticket is still going to get issued.
