Bus Crash Hits Building Scaffolding In Gillingham

A collision between a bus and a car around 5.45pm on Tuesday 13th August was unlucky for some as the bus veered out of control

Following the collision with the car, the bus crashed into scaffolding around a new building on Jeffery Street. The area had to be closed to traffic whilst the scaffolding was made safe.

The silver Ford is thought to have contained an elderly couple, who are not believed to be any serious injuries. There were not thought to be any injuries to passengers on the bus, although it took some time for passengers to disembark safely.
