CCTV Appeal Following Wallet Theft In Folkestone

Police Detectives investigating a suspected theft in Folkestone have released CCTV images of two women that they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Kent Police received a call on the evening of Sunday 28th January 2024 from a man reporting that his wallet was missing. He had last seen the wallet whilst at a fast food restaurant on Sandgate Road at around 3pm.

The man had been alerted to suspicious transactions on his bank cards – including purchases made that evening at a town centre grocery store – when he realised that his wallet had gone.

Officers from Folkestone’s Victim Based Crime Team are investigating and images of two women, who may be able to assist them with their enquiries, have been released. Anyone with information, or who recognises the women, is urged to call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/15795/24.
