Police Officers on patrol in the Dover area on Saturday 7th December stopped a silver vehicle, which pulled over into filling station.
After some basic enquiries, they established that the drivers licence expired in 1981, having previously been disqualified for drink driving.
A TOR notice was issued and the vehicle was seized on the spot.
Meanwhile, members of the public are asking how this driver managed to avoid detection after not having a driving licence for 43 years!
