An observant policeman has managed to locate a stolen car in Crayford.
During a routine patrol, the officer noticed a parked car with a number plate hanging off. Following some checks, the policeman discovered that the vehicle had been stolen 6 days ago.
The number plate hanging off was actually a false plate, which the criminal had poorly attached in their haste to swap the plates over.
The owner of the vehicle has been informed and the car was taken away for forensics to take a closer look.
