Easter Events In Kent 2024

The Easter school holidays in Kent runs between 29th March – 14th April 2024. If you’re looking for Easter events in Kent this year to keep the family entertained then look no further.

This year the Easter bank holiday weekend falls at the beginning of the Easter holidays. There are always plenty of great family activities happening in Kent across the Easter break.

Hever Castle Easter Family Fun

Location: Hever Castle

Dates: 29th March – 14th April 2024

Easter activities at Hever Castle include a dinosaur themed trail, crafts and a sand dig. Get your face painted, or someone else’s face painted and there’s also the chance to meet the dinosaur explorers too.

Easter Egg Hunt At Ightham Mote

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Dates: 23rd March – 14th April 2024

There are ten challenges located around the gardens at Ightham Mote this Easter. Follow the rabbits and complete the challenges to win yourself a chocolate Easter treat at the end and you won’t get wet in the process, unless it rains.

Circus Zyair At The Hop Farm

Location: The Hop Farm, Kent

Dates: 27th March – 8th April 2024

During the Easter school holidays, you can visit Circus Zyair at The Hop Farm. In the Big Top tent you can see clowns, acrobats and jugglers putting on a great show for everyone. There are plenty of clowns in Kent, but these ones are professionals.

Lullingstone Castle Easter Egg Quiz

Location: Lullingstone Castle

Dates: 30th, 31st March, 1st April 2024

Enjoy the beginning of the season at Lullingstone Castle with a family Easter Egg trail and quiz. As you explore the gardens, you can seek out the clues. Report back with your answers for a fab Easter treat, which will most likely be chocolate. You might even be able to see some Easter characters too.

Betteshanger Country Park Easter Egg Trail

Location: Deal, Kent, CT14 0BF

Dates: Dates: 23rd, 24th March and 29th March – 7th April 2024

Your task is to follow the carrots to find the Easter eggs at Betteshanger Country Park. Pre book your slot and enjoy a fun day out. At the end of the trail, don’t forget to collect your special treat and meet the special guest. Might be a good idea to pack your wellie boots too!

Spring Into Easter At Kent Life

Location: Maidstone, Kent, ME14 3AU

Dates: 29th March -14th April 2024

If you’re visiting Kent Life this Easter, then you wont want to miss seeing the new baby animals. There will be lamb feeding through the day and the chance to get creative in the paint a pot studio. The Big Top will also be featuring daily shows as well as many more fun activities. If you don’t visit Kent Life, then this is everything that you are going to miss.

Easter Adventure Quest At Dover Castle

Location: Have a guess?!

Dates: 23rd March – 14th April 2024

You’ll be able to hunt for clues and track down the eggs at Dover Castle this Easter. If you’re visiting this English Heritage castle in Kent, this is a great Easter activity for the whole family. Castles are good, Dover Castle is great!

Little Red Riding Hood’s Easter Train Ride

Location: Spa Valley Railway, Tunbridge Wells West Station

Dates: 9th, 31st, 31st March, 1st April 2024

You can join Little Red Riding Hood as she tried to find the perfect egg for her Granny. The Easter train departs from the station at varying times through the day. During the journey, Little Red Riding Hood will be handing out activity packs to the children before meeting the Easter Bunny at Eridge Station. Get your tickets booked early to avoid disappointment, as standing is not allowed, neither is huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf when the event is sold out.
