A suspect has been charged with offences against four girls in Folkestone.
Kent Police was called shortly after 1.30pm on Sunday 2nd June 2024 following a report that a man had touched a girl on the leg and made inappropriate comments in the Road of Remembrance.
Officers attended and a suspect was quickly identified and arrested the same afternoon.
Isaac Hammond, of Marine Terrace, Folkestone, has since been charged with sexual touching in relation to the incident.
The 79-year-old has also been charged with two further counts of sexual touching relating to similar incidents on a bus in Folkestone on Saturday 1st June.
He is also charged with sexual assaulting a girl near Harbour Street on Thursday 21st March.
Mr Hammond appeared before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday 3rd June and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 1st July.
