Get Involved In the Kings Coronation Celebrations

Buckingham Palace have announced the Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on the morning of Saturday 6th May 2023.

His Majesty King Charles III will be crowned alongside The Queen Consort, Camilla.

Celebrations will be taking place throughout the country during the 3 day weekend (6 to 8 May), including thousands of street parties and a Coronation concert.

The HM Government have set up a website to help residents celebrate the event.

If you hosting a public event or street party for the Kings Coronation, you can submit your event onto an official interactive map and find out what else is happening near you.

Kent County Council have also set up a webpage where you can find plenty of information about the big event. You can download Coronation resources, such as games, recipes and bunting. There are links to places where you can volunteer on the day or take part in a local event.

There is even a link where you can find out what local roads will be closed.
