Iden Manor Nursing Home in Staplehurst has opening its doors to the local and wider Weald community with the launch of IDEN Plus, a new initiative designed to bring care, connection and practical support together in one welcoming place.
Based at Iden Manor Nursing Home on Cranbrook Road, the new service is offering a range of support services, including help with navigating health and social care, the chance to speak with a nurse, foot health practitioner services, hearing and ear checks, health check MOTs, and access to local support networks.
The initiative has been designed to create an informal and reassuring environment where people can ask questions, meet others and feel supported, without the pressure of a formal appointment setting. Sessions will take place in a calm, café-style lounge where visitors can relax, chat, network and connect with others.
IDEN Plus reflects a growing recognition that many people need more accessible ways to find support before they reach crisis point. By bringing a variety of services together under one roof, Iden Manor hopes to make it easier for local people to get practical help, improve wellbeing and feel less alone.

Sessions will run from 10am to 12pm on the last Wednesday of every alternate month throughout 2026. The nexr listed dates are Wednesday 29 April, Wednesday 24 June, Wednesday 26 August and Wednesday 28 October.
