Following community engagement in the local area, Faversham was identified as a dangerous place due to speeding motorists.
Kent Police placed a patrol there to check vehicle speeds yesterday. They issued 7 tickets for speeding offences within 45 minutes, with the highest recorded as 38mph in a 20mph zone.
The police plan to place more patrols there in the future as they look to enforce the local speed limits.
