A team from Kent Rural police have been involved in a chase with a white van after it failed to stop at a police road check.
The incident happened yesterday in Medway, as police were using a road check to inspect passing vehicles. A police motorcyclist was soon in pursuit of the van, which continued to evade them.
The chase ended when the van tried to cross a field in Allhallows, only to end up becoming beached – probably on some of the rubbish that had been fly tipped in the field.
The police were able to arrest the driver at the scene and the van was seized.
