The Kent Wildlife Trust is asking for help from anyone who may have information relating to a number of stolen gates.
On Friday 11th November, all the gates from Nashenden reserve, near Rochester, were stolen. This left 200 sheep and 2 pigs at risk of escaping and put in danger.
On Saturday all the animals were moved to secure locations and temporary gates put up. The Trust estimate that it will cost £10,000 to replace the stolen gates, which is a huge amount of money to find.
If anyone has any information or may have seen something suspicious, please contact the Trust or Kent Rural Police.
