The M26 motorway in Kent remains closed in both directions between J3 and the M25/A21 due to cows on the road.
The road was closed around 3.30am on Wednesday 27th September 2023 and will remain closed through the rush hour. There are delays of up to 60 minutes on the M20 westbound after the M26 as traffic diverts around the closure.
Traffic is being diverted via local routes, via the M20 and traffic is queueing back to just after junction 2 for Wrotham and Brands Hatch.
Police hope that they can get the traffic ‘moooving’ as soon as possible.
