Kent Police are searching for a man who entered an elderly couple’s house in Weller Avenue, Rochester around 5:15pm on Saturday, cut the back garden lawn without being asked to do so, and then demanded payment.
A digital photo has been issued by the “Law’n Enforcement Team” to try and help identify the stranger. The man left after the elderly couple gave hime a small amount of money. Police have failed to confirm if he actually did a good job of mowing the lawn – or once found, if he will be asked to come back and sort the front garden too!
