Minster Action Group are planning a rally this weekend to protest against a new development of 300 houses.
The Action Group are fighting to preserve Grade 1 farm land on the Isle of Sheppey.
The community walk and rally will take place on Sunday 1st May at 10am. The group will meet at the Children’s playground, St Mildred’s Road, Minster, CT12 4DE.
There are a number of protest rallies taking place across Kent to protest about new developments taking away precious agricultural land from the county.
Once new developments appear, the farm land is lost forever. Not only that, but new developments set a precedent for new buildings in an area, which seem to lead to more houses being built close by over future years.
