Palestine Action Target Kite Packaging In Sittingbourne

Palestine Action have targeted Kite packaging, in their latest spate of vandalism.

The Action Group say that Kite secure and transport Elbit’s weaponry, which is then sent to Israel to be used against Palestinians.

A video posted by the group shows hooded people spraying graffiti and smashing security access panels and windows as they attacked Kite Packaging’s office building in Sheppey Way, Bobbing near Sittingbourne.

Palestine Action say that they found the company’s packaging when they broke inside Elbit’s Instro Precision factory in Kent last month, exposing numerous suppliers of Elbit. Kite supply cardboard boxes and bubble wrap but are not involved in transport.

A Kite Packaging spokesman says the attack has cost the firm “thousands of pounds”.

The Kite Packaging spokesman said “The Kite Packaging team are shocked and traumatised by this wanton attack. As an employee-owned company, Kite has recently made substantial investments into the site at Howt Green, trying to make a fantastic home for all our people. To have our investment and effort destroyed by vandals under the misguided impression that they are helping the people of Palestine is truly frightening”.

A Palestine Action spokesperson said “We refuse to allow companies who are enabling the Gaza genocide through working with Israel’s Elbit Systems to continue with business as usual”.
