Kent has scooped a top spot as one of the most migrated to counties in the United Kingdom, alongside the likes of Devon, Norfolk, and Hampshire.
A recent study from Bird & Co has uncovered the UK’s most sought-after locations, having analysed June 2021 figures from the Office of National Statistics, HM Land Registry and Rightmove.
The study found that a whopping net number of 6,269 UK citizens moved to Kent in 2020-21. Kent is the only county to have remained in the top four for the fourth year running and in 2019-20 Kent was top on the list, with a net migration figure of a staggering 8,104.
According to net internal migration data, people fleeing to Kent are moving to:

2. Swale: 988
3. Dartford: 787
4. Dover: 691
5. Canterbury: 636
6. Sevenoaks: 632
7. Tunbridge Wells: 611
8. Ashford: 602
9. Folkstone and Hythe: 516
10. Tonbridge and Malling: 114
11. Thanet: -140
12. Gravesham: -373
