Two incredible chefs from Kent Cricket and Sussex Cricket club are going head-to-head in a competition to showcasing steak at the very highest standards
Mikey Bowell is representing Sussex CC with a fillet of beef, whilst Head Chef for Kent Nigel Bell is serving up Fillet of Beef Carpaccio.
The idea behind the competition is to show the quality of British beef, at a time when there is no cricket to watch.
It’s a competition about food, but you will only be able to look at it with envy!
Sadly, for the vegans and vegetarians, there is no alternative choice, but a ‘Steak’ cooking competition would be tricky if it did not actually include steak on the menu.
The big dilemma for cricket aficionados, is if you follow one of the sides, but actually prefer the dish for the opposition. You may have to decide between loyalty or your stomach!
