Tesco Lorry Hits Bridge In Tunbridge Wells

A Tesco lorry has hit a bridge on the A26 Eridge Road near Tunbridge Wells yesterday. The road, near to the garden centre was closed for a number of hours after the strike at around 3pm.

A little bit of a scratch

Although nobody was hurt in the crash, the trailer of the lorry may need a bit of work to make it roadworthy again. The bridge was none too happy either.

There was nobody available at Tesco’s to make a comment, although it is thought that the Transport Manager’s words would not be suitable to put in print anyway!
