A care home in Ashford marked its fourth anniversary with a very special tea party.
Care UK’s Montfort Manor, on Kennington Road, pulled out all the stops for a special birthday bash, four years after it welcomed the first residents.
Residents, relatives, and the local community had the opportunity to dance and tap their feet to a live performance from professional musician, Martin Farbrother. Following an afternoon of toe-tapping tunes, team members prepared a special afternoon tea, complete with a selection of homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches thoughtfully prepared by the home’s catering team.
Joanne Eaton, Home Manager at Montfort Manor, said: “Everyone had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our special milestone. It was great to see residents, relatives, and the local community all singing and enjoying the party together.
“The whole team worked hard to organise the event, and I am thrilled to say that their efforts were rewarded – our birthday party will definitely be one to remember. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who celebrated our fourth birthday with us, and for helping to make the day extra special.
“It’s been a busy four years here at Montfort Manor. Since we’ve opened our doors, we’ve welcomed some real characters to the home, built relationships with brilliant local organisations, and worked hard to create a homely environment for everyone who spends time with us. We’re excited to see what’s in store for the next four years and beyond!”
