As Christmas is approaching, it would appear that the Christmas spirit has gone missing as criminals are out in abundance.
Yesterday evening, police in Gravesend sighted a moped with two occupants brandishing a hammer. Following some successful forward planning, the police were able to recover two stolen mopeds and one male was caught.
The police are now searching for the other male and have already recovered the moped, a helmet and have traces of the persons DNA. It is only a matter of time before they catch the person.
Elsewhere in Kent, some cheeky thieves decided to help themselves to a John Deere Gator in the Tunbridge Wells area. It is unlikely that Santa decided to use it to deliver some Christmas presents.
The police discovered the Gator in some woodland and had it recovered. They are now trying to reunite the Gator with its rightful owner.
The police request that anyone with information regarding the owner, please contact them with reference CAD 12-0905
