Two Riders Arrested As Suspected Motorbikes Seized In Gravesend

Kent Police have seized two suspected stolen motorbikes and arrested their riders following reports of dangerous driving in Gravesend.

At around 2pm on Saturday 8th March 2025, officers were in Hall Road where they required two motorcyclists to stop by using their blue lights and sirens.

The bikes are alleged to have continued through red traffic signals and onto the wrong side of the carriageway before the constables lost sight of them.

Immediate enquiries led to the suspects being tracked down a short time later, in the rear garden of an address in Hayes Road.

Two men, both aged 22 and from Croydon, were arrested on suspicion of offences including theft, dangerous driving, failing to stop for a constable, driving whilst under the influence of drugs and no insurance. Patrols also seized two motorbikes.

They were later conditionally bailed to return to the police station while an investigation is completed into the incident.
