ULEZ Camera Electrical Explosion In Sidcup

An explosion caused by either a ULEZ camera being destroyed or an electrical explosion occurring while being being cut down, has been reported in Willersley Avenue, Sidcup.

The explosion happened around 7pm last night as people were seen walking their dogs nearby. Reports say that someone attempted to cut down the ULEZ camera at 5.10pm with an angle grinder, before the explosion happened later on.

Damage to a nearby wall show the force of the blast

Debris from the explosion has reportedly damaged nearby property and vehicles, with a fence shown with a large hole in it. The emergency services were called to the scene to investigate and help remove debris from the road.

There are no reports of anyone being injured by the flying debris.
