Despite the Winter storms causing dangerous conditions in the Channel, as soon as the weather calms the influx of migrants continues in Dover.
Just yesterday (Sunday 28th January 2024) 350 young, undocumented males arrived in just one day.
It looks like 2024 could be a record year for illegal migration via the Channel, but this just appears to be a smokescreen by the Government to hide the true numbers for migration into the UK. If even 100,000 come into the UK via Dover, it is still a small drop in the ocean compared the the number of people allowed the enter the UK.
Citizens now say that this has nothing to do with the ECHR, asylum or refuges. This is a political choice made by the British Government as they do not seem to want to stop the flow of people or are clearly incapable of doing so.
It has to be noted that once again the migrants arriving at Dover are a majority of young men. If these were genuine asylum seekers, there would be a mix of women children and older people. But it is clear there is a different agenda here considering they are all males in their early twenties.
