Gravesham Borough Market is celebrating the Chinese New Year on Wednesday 1st February 2023.
They are inviting everyone to join them for a parade that begins at 11am at the Gravesend Borough Market. A ‘chinese’ style lion will parade through St Georges Shopping Centre and New Road before finishing at St Georges Art Centre.
The Chinese new year is the year of the ‘rabbit’ for 2023, although we wonder if lions eat rabbits for lunch! The Chinese New Year began on Sunday 22nd January.
