Driver Flees Area After Crash In Leysdown

A driver has fled the scene of a accident, after a two-car crash in Leysdown on Sunday evening. The accident happened around 9pm on Leysdown Road, between a BMW and a Nissan.

According to reports, the driver fled the scene leaving another person trapped in the vehicle. What a good friend they must be?!

It is thought the driver was either driving illegally or was intoxicated with drink or drugs. Let’s hope that the trapped person was too too badly injured and will provide details of the driver.

A police helicopter was brought in to search the area for the missing man.
