Hilton Home Care believe that shaping the future of care means nurturing the passion and potential of tomorrow’s professionals.
That’s why they were thrilled to welcome Lily, a student from Maplestone Noakes School in Maidstone, to their Ashford office for her work experience placement.
With a clear aspiration to build a career in the healthcare sector, Lily approached her placement with focus, curiosity, and a genuine eagerness to learn. Over the course of her time with the company she immersed herself gaining valuable insight into the real-world delivery of community-based care and how it’s coordinated behind the scenes.
Lily’s experience included:
-Shadowing office coordinators and team leaders
-Learning how the company supports staff and clients across services
-Joining the Head of Business Development to explore how care organisations grow and thrive
-Completing in-house manual handling training
-Getting a head start on her Care Certificate through our the company’s e-learning platform.
“It’s been a pleasure to witness Lily’s confidence grow each day, and we’re proud to have played a small part in her journey into the world of care,” said Head of Business Development John Taylor.
“At Hilton Home Care we are committed to supporting the next generation of care talent because the future of care is in good hands when we invest in it today.”
