Two migrants who arrived into Dover via a dinghy over the weekend have insisted on receiving quick medical attention in a Kent hospital.
The two men were taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, complaining of stomach problems. They were escorted by personnel from UK Border Force.
After a short wait in A&E, it is reported that there was a stand-off between the men and hospital staff. The UK Border Force officers intervened and the two men were seen by medical staff within 2 and a half hours.
Other people were left to wait in A&E for up to 7 hours, including elderly people who were left on trollies.
