A person has been plucked to safety from rocks by the coastguard.
The Coastguard rescue helicopter and Littlestone Lifeboat were called yesterday evening after reports of a person apparently stuck on rocks off Lower Sandgate Road in Folkestone.
On arrival, the coastguard winchman was dropped down to retrieve the person. They were winched off the rocks and taken to hospital for further checks.
It is currently unknown why the person was stuck on the rocks or if they suffered any injuries.
