Kent Police have recovered several suspected stolen bicycles from a property in Folkestone and are now seeking help to identify the owners.
Officers from Folkestone’s Community Safety Unit received information that several suspected stolen bikes were being housed in a property on Cheriton Road, Folkestone.
A police drone was deployed above the property where multiple bikes were found in the back garden. In total 12 bikes and two e-scooters were seized. A 71-year old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods. He has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Efforts are underway to reunite the bikes with their rightful owners.
