Please be aware there is a sewage pollution alert in place on the North coast of Thanet today.
The information has been provided by Safer Seas & River Service, which track real-time CSOs (combined sewage overflows) and PRFs (pollution risk forecasts).
There has not much extensive heavy rain in the area which can sometimes lead to sewage ending up in the sea, but the monitor states that ‘storm sewage has been discharged from a sewer overflow in this location within the past 48 hours’.
It just appears to be another s@~t show from our waste water companies! Thanks
