The Kent Rural Task Force were called to a report of illegal poaching taking place yesterday in the Swale area.
On arrival, the team were quick to stop three people in a Land Rover who had five dogs with them. After some initial checks, searches and roadside interviews the police had gathered enough evidence to report all three for offences.

Poaching is the illegal trafficking and killing of wildlife. Sometimes animal are killed and sold as trophies or as meat and sometimes they are sold on as pets.
They were given paperwork as a momento of their day out and were sent on their way from the area.
