Wet Weather Set To Continue For Another Week

The rainy season is expected to continue for the foreseeable future as more rain is predicted to hit the county.

Heavy showers are due to arrive throughout the day with storms dotted across the South East during this afternoon, after the cloud breaks and gives sufficient heating for this to occur.

More showers are expected throughout Wednesday

Rain is forecast for at least the next week, taking us all up to Wednesday 26th May. There is some hope that there will be a break allowing for some warmer weather before the Bank Holiday and half term holidays.

Sadly, the temperatures are not expected to get above 15 or 16 degrees, so jumpers will need to be kept on for a little longer.

The next 10-day forecast – not very promising unless you are a duck!

Although our gardens and plants are enjoying the intermittent showers and sun, poor gardeners are finding it hard to get out to mow the ever-growing grass!
