A car has crashed into the Pilot Inn pub near Dungeness power station.
The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday morning on 10th August after the red car took the bend in the road too quickly. The driver allegedly fled the scene but was arrested by police soon afterwards.
There were no reports of anyone being injured. Despite extensive damage to the front of the pub, it was back open for Sunday trading.
What is ironic is that the car crashed into the pub right in front of a painted notice that stated “No Parking”!
