Dartford Drug Dealer Sent To Jail

A drug dealer from Dartford has been jailed after he was arrested with more than 90 wraps of cocaine and heroin.

Officers from Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team were on patrol in Waldeck Road where they stopped a hire car on 18th October 2021.

Suspecting the driver, Rahim Saeed, was involved in drug supply they detained him for a search.

The officers seized a burner phone from the vehicle and £220 in cash, and took Saeed back to the police station to complete the search.

Once there, he admitted to having drugs hidden in his clothing and the officers seized 91 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin. They also recovered a large lump of crack cocaine which it is estimated could have been divided into a further 110 wraps.

Saeed, of Dartmouth Road, Sydenham, Greater London, was later charged with supplying crack cocaine with intent to supply and possessing heroin with intent to supply.

He pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court and on Wednesday 2nd February 2022, the 54-year-old was sentenced to two years and four months’ imprisonment.

Investigating officer, PC Michael Williams, said “Another dealer who travelled into Kent with class A drugs is starting a prison sentence. Our officers are alert for county line suppliers who think they can remain anonymous using mobile phones to bring cocaine and heroin into our towns”.
