Travel companies are still offering holidays for sale across Europe next month. We have found a number of sites offering deals to Coronavirus hotspots such as Italy, Spain and Tenerife from 17th April.

The travel and tourist industry is one of the industries suffering the most. But with the current situation not likely to change for many weeks, if not months, it does look unlikely that holidays to such destinations will happen anytime soon.
It is looking like the current lockdown will go on for at least 8-12 weeks which will take it until mid-May at the earliest. Those wanting a cheap deal could be tempted but who is going to risk going to these destinations until things are a lot better.
Not only could you lose your deposit if you make a booking, but it is almost impossible to get travel insurance presently. The situation in Europe is worse than in the UK and it could take a number of months before it is safe to travel.
