An interesting and unusual sign has been found in Kent by a local walker. The sign was photographed after being locked in East Kent.
The road sign has the locations of “Ham” and “Sandwich”, shown which obviously makes for a very tasty combination. The signpost is so famous that it has it’s own Wikipedia page about it.

It is very odd that two places reside less than 3 miles away from each other.
Ham is a hamlet near the town of Sandwich in Kent, England, within the parish of Northbourne. The population is included in the civil parish of Eastry.
Sandwich on the other hand, is a historic town and civil parish in the Dover District of Kent, south-east England. It lies on the River Stour and has a population of 4,985.
But if you are a vegetarian and so not a fan of Ham, perhaps you would enjoy a day trip to Egham instead, although you would need to leave beautiful Kent and travel to Surrey for that.
