A man has been arrested by Kent Police in Swale yesterday afternoon.
The 31 year old was stopped in his vehicle by police and found to be in possession of a large quantity of alcohol. The haul included numerous bottles of Moet champagne and lots of other expensive booze.
After discovering the bottles, police have charged him with handling stolen goods.
He remains under investigation.
Perhaps he was planning on a large scale celebration if England won the football match. The alcohol was confiscated by the police which was no bad thing as it would appear that after England’s defeat, it was no longer needed.
