A police officer has been seriously hurt after trying to apprehend a motorcyclist going the wrong way on the M25.
The incident happened around 4pm on Sunday afternoon after patrols were responding to reports of a stolen motorcycle near J3 near Swanley.
The bike, which was being driven the wrong way along the clockwise carriageway, collided with the male officer, who was trying to stop the rider.
The officer was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to a London hospital y air ambulance for treatment.

A man, 26, has been arrested on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving.
Videos posted on social media showed a number of cars having to swerve to avoid hitting the motorcycle.
A number of people were quick to commend the officer for his brave actions.
There will undoubtedly be an investigation as to the circumstances leading up to the accident. Whilst the officer was brave in trying to stop this criminal, he has put his life at risk in his attempt to stop them.
