A Fiat 500 stolen from Sevenoaks has been returned to its owner and an arrest has been made.
Kent Police received a report of a pensioner’s car having been stolen from the driveway of a property near Chipstead Lane. It is alleged it was taken at some point between Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August 2026.
An investigation was launched and officers quickly traced the vehicle to a premises near Dartford.
The vehicle was recovered on Friday 4th September and returned to its rightful owner.
A 40 year old man from Sutton-at-Hone was later arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. He has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
