Yesterday saw a demonstration by local Faversham residents against the
Duchy of Cornwalls development plans.
The duchy have applied for planning to build 2500 extra houses on the edge of Faversham, near Junction 7 of the M2. Locals are against the development but also do not want to see vital agricultural land being used for housing.
Swale Council have been very quiet so far with no official response
The demonstration groups are scheduling more demos to get their voices heard in the community.
