The M25 has been closed today both ways between junctions 5 and 4 near Sevenoaks due to a serious collision.
The accident occured during the early rush hour on Friday morning, with the road being closed at around 5.30am. The air ambulance is currently attending the scene. Traffic is being diverted off the motorway onto local roads.
The accident is also affecting the Eastbound carriageway of the M26.
The accident is thought to be between a road sweeper and a crane.
Highways England is warning of delays in the area – talk about stating the obvious!
